"In order to survive, especially with trauma, our brain takes that energy and puts it somewhere, in your body parts; lower back, hips, shoulders. Breathwork allows you to meet all your parts together and have a physical release. The joy of it is that I don’t even have to know what it is. It’s just old gunk that I’m cleaning out of my closet. It just doesn’t belong in my body anymore. It’s a way to process and clean house.”
